Grace's Dell Copper Earrings

There's a quietness to a dell a sheltered hollow where the world slows down and something gentle takes over. That's what I wanted when I made these.

I shaped each hoop by hand, working the copper slowly into that clean, rounded curve. The width, the weight, the smooth polish every detail was deliberate, worked and reworked until it sat right.

People who wear copper close to their skin tend to notice things a softness, an ease. I've heard it enough times over forty years that I've stopped being surprised.

These earrings are for the woman who doesn't need to announce herself. She already knows who she is.
